Hannah remains on the vent but is being held at a “dreamy” state where she can wake up some and communicate with hand gestures or pointing from a poster of pictures. Her stuffed doggy has been a big help as she has been asking for scratchies on her head, chest and tummy which is not in the list of options , anytime she needs a scratch she scratches the doggy where she needs it! She is so funny and resilient even while under. We did have a care with her blood pressure dropping but they are unsure at this time what caused the event. There has been some tweaking of medications as they were trialing weaning her off  some but they have been bumped back up as of now. Plans for an MRI to be done are in the works for today or tomorrow. She will need a specialized team for this so it takes some planning. As Myocarditis is the likely factor in causing the heart failure they are still unsure what is causing the Myocarditis. The MRI could further help with exact visualization. Genetic testing from Brittany and Louis has been sent off in case there are any genetic/autoimmune contributing factors to the cause of the Myocarditis. 

We are still at this point in a waiting game. They are continuing  to investigate cause- genetic testing should be back in about week and Other labs have also been sent off as well that may shed some light.
