Today was a long day at clinic! We started by accessing Grey’s port and placing an IV. They used the IV to give him contrast and then over the following five hours they drew labs to test his kidney function.  During this time they were able to do other tests so he also had an EKG and Echocardiogram. We met with Child Life, had long meetings about both the transplant process and donor process, drew lots of labs from both kids and had a visit from a therapy dog!  We finished the day at clinic by attempting a CT scan for Greyson.  We had to place an IV again and give him more contrast and in the end we couldn’t get everything we needed.  So tomorrow he will have a CT scan with sedation in the morning and then later he will have a pulmonary function test.  🧡🎗️

What a long and harrowing road on which you travel. Our Great Shepherd is leading the way.

Praying for your strength and good cheer to continue. You all are a lovely witness to everyone you meet. May the Lord be your rock today.
