Grey was desating while asleep tonight.  They bumped his o2 but because he is a mouth breather, it wasn’t helping.  They tried to put a mask on him and was unable to. The docs called the PICU to see if they had suggestions before we end up having to move to PICU for more support. They suggested high flow o2 so he is now on high flow and sating well for now.  The PICU team is ‘stalking his chart’ to see if anything needs PICU intervention.
