Greyson’s chest x-ray looks worse today and he has spiked a low-grade fever. They are highly concerned about another infection.  They have redrawn all the cultures and will do another mini-bronc today to get a respiratory culture.  They will not be doing a CPAP trial so that his lungs can rest.  They will keep him on auto mode as long as he tolerates it.

They have spotted some gallstones on his x-ray and will be doing an ultrasound to look at them closer.  He is not a candidate for surgery so if they are causing a problem, they will have to attempt to treat them with medication.

His kidneys and liver are still very sick. He is being treated for liver disease but his bilirubin is continuing to climb.  He looks very yellow today.   There is a possibility that the gallstones are affecting his bilirubin so hopefully we will be able to resolve that.

He is, again, not stable enough for an MRI so they will not be doing that as planned today.  However, if the concern for infection continues, they will be doing a pan CT to look at his brain, chest, and abdomen. 💚🧡🎗️
