Greyson has remained stable today, though he is still in septic shock.  His vent numbers continue to be low (according to his doctors). His urine output has been good since they gave his lasix, but his kidney numbers did get a little worse so they are monitoring that closely.

He had several X-rays today as they repositioned and then replaced his NG tube.  It had been moved out of his abdomen and needed to be repositioned. He also received platelets this afternoon.

They restarted his TPN last night and he continues to be on antibiotics, anti-fungals, and anti-virals to both deal with his current infection, and prevent further complications from his bone marrow transplant.

They are very concerned about the bottom right lung.  They are pretty sure that his lungs are where all of the problems are originating.  They believe there is a ‘foreign object’ in his lungs that they have seen on the CT.  They are not sure what it is and are concerned it may be contributing to the inflammation causing the infection.  They may end up doing a scope to see this better and/or to remove it.  💚🧡🎗️
