Hello All,

Thank you all for the outpouring of love and support for Kelly and her family!  There has been an abundance of love, prayers, support, and donations from near and far.   Our community has shown up for them in ways we never could have imagined.  There are no amount of words that can properly thank each and every one of you.  Please know that she is hearing your prayers and they are working.

I know everyone has been reaching out for an update so thank you for bearing with us while we process information and the days since her accident. 

Today, Kelly was taken off the ventilator and they are reducing her sedation as tolerated.  She has been following commands and is able to speak a few words quietly.  As with anything in the ICU there will be highs and lows, but we will celebrate the victories when we get them.  Today was a huge step in Kelly’s recovery journey.  We don’t know what exactly her journey will look like at this point, but we will be with her every step of the way.  Kelly is strong and we have seen miracles being worked over the last few days.
