The doctor was just in. His white cells went from 11,000-17,000 overnight. He has a drain tube in his belly from the 2nd surgery that has been leaking lots of fluid over the last couple days. They tested it and it shows signs of urine. It's leaking somewhere. They are doing a CT scan at 11:00. They are getting the infectious disease and urologist involved. Depending on what they find, we will know the next step. It's possible they will transfer him depending on what care he needs. Most likely another surgery. The doctor is good and was honest. Said he can't tell us if he's going to make it through this or not. He said he doesn't want to give false hope. What we need to do is keep moving forward and investigating each problem and trying to fix it. 
The doctor said the good news is he's a fairly healthy person otherwise so will help in fighting to make it through this. I will keep you updated after the scan.
