The Bowers Family - Josh
Josh was diagnosed with a brain tumor on the front left lobe on Saturday October 10th after experiencing headache and confusion. We met with a neurosurgeon on Monday October 12th and was recommended he undergo a craniotomy and tumor resection urgently due to brain swelling.
On October 13th, Josh underwent a craniotomy and tumor resection. His neurosurgeon confirmed the diagnosis of glioblastoma. A very aggressive brain tumor that is incurable.
Josh is currently in neuro ICU following surgery receiving around the clock care. He is awake and aware of what is going on. The plan moving forward is to return home within a week and follow up urgently with an oncologist to receive chemo and radiation. We are fighting for more time. More memories, more conversations, and more hugs.
