Amanda and Preston made it to Jackson safely and now have all boys on one campus.
Levi has been moved out of PICU and is in an inpatient room. He received his back brace today and will begin working on standing and walking. He was able to eat some good food last night, is now on a regular diet and was happy to see his mom and dad!
Since the last update, they found internal bleeding in Eli's abdomen. He had surgery yesterday evening to locate and stop the hemorrhage. The surgery was successful but they have decided to leave him intubated and the wound open until tomorrow to make sure that no more issues arise from that location and that no more surgeries are needed for the abdomen.
Joe has surgery this afternoon on his spine to repair the fracture. The med team in Jackson has also found that Joe's right wrist is broken and will require surgery. I do not have an update on when that surgery will take place. The surgery to reconstruct his knee will be held off for 2-3 months to allow him to heal from spine surgery. Josiah has been waking up and is responsive to commands. He is strong, showing great progress and is waking up more frequently.
Specific prayers for today
Levi- that he is able to stand and walk with minimal/no pain.
Eli- that they repaired all hemorrhages in the abdomen and no more surgeries are required for abdominal bleeding.
Joe- pray that his spine surgery goes perfectly, pray for the Dr. Hidalgo's hands to be guided by God and for it to be a success.
Amanda and Preston- there are many things in motion at once and they are handling it beautifully. Pray for God to protect them with the peace that none of us can understand. Pray for them to be able to rest in Him as much as possible.
They appreciate all of the prayers and are feeling them.
