Praise God, Evan has been able to start taking liquids! We had hoped originally that he would be able to come home on Thursday, but he still has a good ways to go as far as being able to get the nutrition he needs, controlling pain and getting around. He has moved from the bed to the chair, but has had a few dizzy/fainting spells partly due to low blood pressure, so he’s not quite ready to begin attempting to walk. Once he can tolerate some  intake well and walk, we can begin talking about him coming home. “One day at a time” is a phrase we keep hearing and reminding ourselves of. Evan is weak of body but strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
