We arrived at the hospital this morning at 5:30 for pre-op, and Evan was just taken back (7:30) to begin the surgery.
Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

I also pray for Jaimie—grant her peace that surpasses all understanding—and for the children, grandparents, and the rest of the family. Let Your peace envelop them all. As Your followers, we stand united as an army behind this family, lifting them up in prayer and interceding on their behalf.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

16“Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw that the hills were full of horses and chariots of fire all around.

"Lord, bless this sickness to me. Make this affliction to be for my soul's good. Humble me, teach me, sanctify me. Increase my faith in my Savior; cause me to feel You near and to know Your love; support and comfort me under all that You may send; let me not faint or be weary in my mind; though weak in body — yet let me be strong in faith; and though the outward man is perishing — yet let the inward man be renewed day by day. Lord, let me not think Your time long, nor Your hand heavy. Fix my thoughts and affections upon eternal things. May all Your dealings with me be the means of drawing my heart nearer to You." (F. Bourdillon – 1864)
