We arrived at the hospital this morning at 5:30 for pre-op, and Evan was just taken back (7:30) to begin the surgery.

Lord, I lift up the Gear’s family this morning. I pray for Evan's surgery, that it will go smoothly. Lord, be in control of the surgeons' hands—let them be steady and precise. Grant them wisdom and favor, and let Your miraculous healing guide them in detecting and addressing every issue. We trust You, Almighty God, for complete healing—both through the hands of the surgeons and the care of the medical team. I also pray for Jaimie—grant her peace that surpasses all understanding—and for the children, grandparents, and the rest of the family. Let Your peace envelop them all. As Your followers, we stand united as an army behind this family, lifting them up in prayer and interceding on their behalf. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Though we do not know the Gear family personally, please know we're praying for you and trusting the Lord for a successful and full recovery. We live in the Brandon, FL area and have visited IPC in the past when we have travelled to the Savannah area. "Lord, bless this sickness to me. Make this affliction to be for my soul's good.
