✨Tomorrow is the Big Day — Teddie’s Transplant, DAY 0… Her Rebirthday. ✨

Today has been quiet and precious. We’ve played, cuddled, and watched movies — soaking in these small, beautiful moments before the next extraordinary step. I’ve caught myself just watching her, holding tight to the little things, and looking forward with cautious hope.

Teddie is still very much herself — lots of energy and lots of fun. While her appetite hasn’t returned, her team began tube feeds this afternoon and she’s tolerating them well so far. We’re thankful for that.

Some side effects of last week’s treatment are beginning to show. Her hair has just started to shed — something we knew would come, but it’s still hard to see. Especially after she held onto it much longer than expected. Skin irritation, she’s become a sensitive skin girly. Side effects for the next 10ish days after transplant are expected to be the worst. 

But tomorrow brings new life. A second chance. A beginning.

— Pray for her body: that it accepts the donor marrow with grace.

— Pray for the marrow: that it finds its home and begins building a strong, healthy immune system.
