Chemo #6 was yesterday 11/17/2025. There had been conversation about adding a 7th treatment, but the Oncologist at Mayo is so impressed with the results of 6 treatments and the impressive surgery done 9/29/2025 along with the HIPEC treatment. My CIA 125 was a 5 yesterday. The desirable range is 0-30 and the last three times it was checked it was 9, 7 and now 5. On June 12 when I was initially diagnosed, it was 2420. I am leaning towards not doing a 7th chemo. The Doctors don't seem to think it will make much more difference at this point. The pathology reports are all in and everything looks great. The surgery was an A+. They did a full hysterectomy due to the Ovarian cancer, removed the cancerous Omentum, and removed my cancerous Appendix. The pathology report showed some additional cancer that was also removed. There was Endometrial cancer and some cancer on the Fallopian tubes which was also removed. Greg and I meet with the surgeon on Tuesday 11/25/25, next week, and we will make the final decision about another treatment, but I think we have already made up our minds. I feel a little sluggish today but have rested a lot. My hair had started growing back in a little, but after 2 treatments since the surgery, it is falling out again. I am starting to like the cliches "Bald is beautiful" and "Scars are sexy". LOL
Thank you all so much again for all of your prayers, calls, texts, cards, meals, errands, gifts, books, and so much more. I could not do this without all of your love and support and especially the prayers. I feel them every day and I do appreciate you all. I have had strangers see me and ask if they can pray for me and with me. GOD IS SO GOOD.
Stay turned and I will keep you updated. Pray for our decision when we meet the surgeon on Tuesday. I feel 99% sure we will forgo another chemo treatment.
I love you all. Suzanne
