We received some difficult news today about Susannah’s condition.
The MRI results have confirmed a traumatic brain injury, and the imaging shows that the effects are more extensive than we had hoped.
We have shared this with our family and spent the afternoon together with Susannah in her hospital room, reminiscing about our favorite memories, looking through notes and cards from friends, singing, praying, laughing, and crying.
We will be meeting with her medical team to discuss the plan for the next several days and what comes next. We continue to have faith that God can perform a miracle in Susannah’s body. Regardless of the outcome, God is still good.
We take comfort in knowing how much Susannah loves Jesus and how deeply her faith is part of who she is. We know she belongs to Him.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Susannah and our family. Your love and support mean more than we can express.
