Preparing for Discharge... September 9, 2026

As a family, we are receiving word from the hospital that Steve is approaching discharge!  While we are not quite sure of an exact timeline, and to where, we are planning for an eventual return home.  With that said, Steve will need support when he gets home mainly for food shopping, meals and transportation.

If you would like to donate a gift card (Instacart) for food shopping or a restaurant to minimize his need to cook, please send to [email protected].   We will continue to collect donations through this site as well, and if you'd like your contribution to be used for groceries, please make a note of that.  We are unsure whether he will need meals sent to the home, but will update everyone if he does.

Also, Steve's truck was completely totaled in the explosion.  Given that he is not able to work, he is looking for an inexpensive car to drive so he can eventually do his own food shopping, drive his boys to different activities, etc.  If anyone is looking to sell a car, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Everyone has been so amazing and has supported our family so graciously, and we are so grateful!  He still has a lot of rehab and therapies to do and will need continued support to hopefully get back to himself.
