My sweet Stella Kate has been more stable the past couple days. She has been able to use the nose prong mask a little more to give her face more of a break from the bigger mask. She wasn’t a fan of it at first but has grown to love it a little more each day! They have decided to take out her IV going into her belly button area because they feel like her IV nutrition is no longer needed and she can just have breastmilk. I’m hoping they do this tonight so I can hold her skin to skin it would make it easier. Her oxygen seems to drop a little after feedings so they are gonna just slow her feeding down a little more to allow her body not to work so hard but other than that her oxygen has been very stable on her masks. We just need to get more weight on her and she will get stronger!!!! Please continue praying it’s been so helpful for my sweet baby!!!!!!
