Tomorrow we are taking Stella off intubation and they are gonna try the cpap mask again but if she is still having apnea spells they won’t re intubate her because even though her throat scan was good and isn’t causing her to not to breathe her anatomy makes intubation so hard. they consider her to have a Critical airway. Last time it took them three tries, so we wouldn’t put her through that pain suffering of doing that again and we don’t want her living on a machine if she can’t get better. Everyone please pray so hard that Stella Kate doesn’t have anymore apnea spells. We just love her so much!!!!!! She is already so sassy and tells us when she wants to be held or isn’t comfortable. She will follow your voice with her eyes. The NICU seems to think she’s already so spoiled and loved so much.
