Squishy Boy was hospitalized for 3 days over the weekend with Rhino enterovirus and pneumonia. He's had a fever for 12 of the last 15 days, but boy is he a fighter! He's been laughing through it all, and now only needs breathing treatments every 6 hours. Since feeling better, he was able to teach a Ball State course this evening for his girlfriend (she's 21;)) and her classmates going into Special Education. He was able to show off his g-j tube and help 11 young women prepare for the future of caring for others with such feeding tubes. Despite not feeling quite up to par since coming home from the hospital, he continues to walk with joy in his Trexo. He has now taken 645,297 steps! We will continue to update everyone with Squishy's daily activities and progress in order to share in the richness of life that he exudes.
