Bringing Lenny Home ❤️

Hi everyone! 

We have exciting news. Lenny is coming home, tomorrow! 

The month of July flew by. A few things we celebrated:

July 2- Lenny came off oxygen!

July 19- Lenny’s due date ❤️ Kayden was surrounded by friends and family for a wonderful baby shower to honor the day. 

And finally, 8/3- Bringing Lenny Home.

It feels very surreal. We are scared and excited. Prayerful and hopeful. Totally in awe of the Lords kindness to us in her life and His favor over her the last 129 days. 

Tonight, family and close friends gathered at our home to pray over us. It was a glimpse of heaven. We are so grateful. 

To all of you that have been praying from afar and keeping up with our journey… you are the Church. And we are so humbled to be apart of the family of believers that have held us up through this. Thank you.

Lenny’s night tonight, her last night in the NICU

The drive home tomorrow

Our first night at home together 

The first pediatrician appointment on Tuesday

The follow up appt with Retina specialist Friday

Connor and Kayden’s marriage. To be gracious and kind to one another. Patient and encouraging. 

For Connor back to work next Monday, juggling a new job with additional demand  

For Kayden, that her fear would turn to courage
That anxiety would not creep in 

For Lenny’s continued health and development 

Praise & Thanksgiving for Eleanor Townes Smith.
