I wanted to provide an update on Shelton after his most recent MRI. The cancer area has grown and crossed over to the left frontal lobe as well. Our next steps are to hopefully get into a trial that meets his cancer tumor profile, which may involve moving to another city for up to a month plus travel for follow ups (Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, etc.) or if there are no trial matches for him, they will start Avastin (infusion therapy every two weeks) plus continued oral chemotherapy. Surgery and additional radiation are not an option at this time. Continued gratitude for all of you keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We need it but also appreciate the positive energy it creates for us.
