Tomorrow, November 5th, Sawyer begins his 3rd round of chemotherapy. He'll spend a couple of days in the hospital so doctors can monitor side effects and help prevent dehydration. Another treatment is scheduled for November 12th, followed by a short break before his next round begins on December 3rd. On November 19th, Sawyer will have his first MRI since starting chemotherapy--an important and emotional milestone. We ask for your continued prayers that the chemo and radiation have completely eliminated all traces of cancer, and for peace and calm for Sawyer and his family as they face this next step.
This past weekend marked six months since Sawyer's diagnosis--six months of strength, courage and hope. The Sistrunk family is deeply grateful for all of the love, prayers and support from friends, family and the community.
