If you feel called to help, meals are always appreciated for Sarah and Amelia. To make things as easy as possible for Sarah while she recovers, we ask that meals be dropped off on the porch. This helps her get the rest she needs and limits exposure to infection during treatment.
A few things to keep in mind:
Meals only need to serve two people.
Individual portions are especially helpful since freezer space is limited.
We're trying to focus on simple, wholefood meals.
Please avoid citrus, highly acidic foods, and heavily processed ingredients as well as sugars and sweets right now.
Mild, comforting options like soups, mashed potatoes, casseroles, cooked vegetables, and other easy to digest comfort foods are wonderful choices.
