8/13/26 The beginning of a new journey

Sandy received a diagnosis of colon cancer today. We are waiting on more details and next steps. In the last year she has lost a lot of weight, and in the last couple months she has had to quit traveling (if you know her, you know that's unlike her). She is quickly fatigued, always in pain, having to sleep a lot, and has been having major GI issues that require her to be near a bathroom 24/7. She is in better spirits today than yesterday (the colonoscopy was performed yesterday), which we thank God for. She is scheduled for a CT scan next week.
