Sister here:
Hi! I just wanted to say you all are so so SO sweet and kind thank for everything!!

Auntie Emily here: I showed her the support page, and she wanted to thank you all personally! Seriously these kids are so brave and so strong.

Littlest brother and Sister are being discharged in the morning!!! We have a place nearby as well as the Ronald McDonald's Charity House being so kind to set up a fully accessible room on the first floor for these kiddos.

Our goal is to have them ease into getting back into the car. We will be picking up the accessible van in the morning.

We also have Oldest brother's facial surgery in the morning, we wish him all the luck and know that he is in great hands with his surgery team.

Speaking of older brother- he has been on a clear liquid diet for the first several days after the bowel surgery, that is healing wonderfully to the point of REAL FOOD. Much like the teen he is, he has eaten so much and drank so much milk the nursing team was concerned he would have issues. His first request after the first little breakfast was a full double quarter pounder and 20 McNuggets... his eyes were a bit bigger than his stomach but he is doing so good.

Littlest brother is just fine and honestly should have been discharged days ago- so now the issue is going to be convincing him that yes, he does need to use the wheelchair until he can start bearing weight on his leg (weeks from now)

We had a few visitors today that the kids were so happy to see, (Thank you to Orions girlfriend for facetiming with some classmates, it really made Sisters day.

We have been having late night pizza parties (because hospital food)- as a thank you to staff we also included them as celebration for the last night for the littles. We are very excited to have them out of here and back into the real world; wheelchair and all. (And to clarify some rumors, Sister is NOT paralyzed,  just fractures, she will have full use of her legs!!!) ( ps: hi sister here again! i'm, in fact NOT paralyzed, I can move my legs, arm is having trouble moving can still move it , but it hurts!)
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for everyone who has been reaching out and offering hands, again we should know more about what support we will need around the house and regarding child and pet care once the kids are out.
