OK so one more night for the littles- as always, plans be changing. But tomorrow morning for sure, getting discharged. We will be close by in Savannah until Oldest is out sometime early next week.
He's got a few more days of some swelling post-op that will be coming and going, followed by a few scans to make sure everything still looks good. He's so strong and so brave and we are so grateful for the amazing team here in the hospital. Grandpa Pat teased "What celebrity should we say the plastic surgeon made him look like?" He gave a very quick "I'm awake and can hear you" so we are glad to share all of these kids have kept their sense of humor.
Sister is ready to go "I'm so bored" - Youngest loves his attention but he is basically crawling out of bed even in his sleep. Pic attached (he's in that pile of blankets and stuffies somewhere)
We want to also acknowledge and thank the ECI district for coming together to celebrate Orions life with Wear Red for Orion days, all the pins they put together and the strength that they have shown. We love that you loved him.
Tomorrow will be pretty busy so if I don't get a chance to update it's because we are moving and adjusting to have our youngest two out of the hospital. Again we will definitely need a lot more help and visitors once we are not in the PICU.
