We Are Rallying Around Sophie As She Starts Chemotherapy.

Sophie started chemo this past weekend. To help the medicine work faster, she had two ports (small medical devices) put in her body. Since the medicine reacts to light, her treatments begin at midnight and lasted for two nights in a row. Now she is home recovering and will return for more treatment in two weeks.

PET scan results came back showing the cancer is localized to her leg! Praise God! 

Sophie will have a few weeks of chemo before the doctors are able to do surgery. We are praying she recovers well from the chemo treatments.
