My name is Amanda Aires. I am Rafa’s cousin, writing to you from the US to help manage this fundraiser so his wife, Rina, and his father can focus entirely on what matters most: Rafa’s survival and recovery.
As many of you know, Rafa suffered a severe cerebral infarct shortly after moving to the Philippines to build a life with Rina. The stroke has left him significantly disabled. Right now, Rina and Rafa’s father—who dropped everything in Brazil to be by his side—are completely stretched thin providing round-the-clock care.
Together, we are racing against time to fund his ongoing treatments and ultimately bring Rafa back home to Brazil, where he will have access to better medical infrastructure and a deep network of family support. To make this happen, our family is juggling overwhelming challenges:

I am managing this page, withdrawing the funds directly to my secure US account, and immediately transferring 100% of your generous donations to Rafa’s father via international transfer.
