It is 8:08 pm and Madeline is working on a puzzle with David. Her procedure went well today and she was mostly happy when she got back to us as long as she had a popsicle in her hand and the promise of a yogurt and bagel with cream cheese on the way. With some persuasion I was able to go back into the OR with her until she fell asleep. It was good to see her fall asleep peacefully and know she was in good hands.Β 

Her first round of chemo is in her little body so tonight will be about trying to control her pain from her port placement and biopsy. She is loaded with anti nausea meds so hopefully if we stay on top of pain meds we will all get some rest. She is one brave strong girl.Β 

Thank you for praying over us all today. We definitely felt it. We were not frantic and instead we were able to be calm and strong for our girl. We will head home tomorrow if all is well and will be scheduled again for chemo next Monday. We love you all more than you know.

Molly, David, and Madeline, We have never met but I attend a ladies Bible study with Trina. We are a group of prayer warriors who are committed to holding you all up before the Lord.
