Penelope Airlifted to Hospital for Emergency Care at Children's Mercy

We want to share that our 3-year-old daughter, Penelope, was flown to Children's Mercy in Kansas City early this morning. She had post-surgery bleeding and anemia (not enough healthy blood cells). Doctors have admitted her to check a blood clot. We will update with news as we learn more.

We are asking for help because Penelope's care doesn’t fit with our insurance at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Money is needed for the first payment and travel from Kansas. We have three other children at home, so every bit of help matters. Thank you for being there for Penelope and our family as we face this time together.
