Thursday marked two months since Paxton passed away. Time can be a funny thing. Some days it feels like I just saw him last week, and other days the two months feel like years. We all miss him so much every day. We try to stay busy during the voids that are far too quiet now. 

Last week, Elise Naiditch, Camden, and I completed the #SuperheroHeartRun 5k. We learned the next day that there was a local news crew there. We had a sign up for Paxton, and it had a close up during the news segment! What a fun surprise that was. https://www.kcci.com/.../little-heroes-save-the.../62522510

The run gave us a chance to test out some new shirts. We plan to wear these same shirts at the Omaha Half Marathon in April 2025 (date TBD). We have also created a new Pages from Paxton logo and created shirts with it. Both shirts have Paxton written in his handwriting. Speaking of books, donations for the book drive continue to come in almost daily. We are closing in on 2,500 books to bring to Children's Nebraska next month! They have come from near and far, friends, family, old classmates, friends of family, and many anonymously. Every time we open a new package, it feels like Paxton's impact grows a little more.
