A quick update here, and then we'll post another one soon when we have more details.

What we know so far is that fluid has built back up around Paxton's lungs that one chest tube is going back in this morning. We knew this was a possibility when they were pulled last week, but no less disappointing. 

Paxton was having a great week up until yesterday. He was going on 4-5 walks a day and showing longer glimpses of his smiling self. 

Friday morning's x ray showed an increase in fluid. That was followed by an echo that confirmed the pleural effusion is larger than originally thought. The chest tube will help that drain again, but like most things, it will take time for it to fully heal.
