My first update

Hi everyone, thanks for being here.

This Support Registry is how we're rallying help for Pat.

Here's some background; While in the military working out of the country was hard on his feet and dried them out causing cracks, but they always healed.  He was working in Texas started getting these cracks and looked like they were healing, but in actuality they were infecting deep to the bone.  because of having confusion at work he was let go and left him with no job or insurance .  While in ER he found out his blood sugar was at 700.  He had suddenly become diabetic.  The infection in his right foot exploded and within 4 hours his foot went from red and a little swelling to dying.  In order to save his life they had to do first amputation of toes and then the infection kept spreading up his leg rapidly killing tissue so then the second amputation was done below the knee.
This changed his life in an instant as he has worked since high school.
