At the age of 2 Paige was diagnosed with Rett syndrome a rare and severe neurological disorder. The disorder primarily impacts motor skills, communication, and cognitive abilities, leading to a progressive loss of abilities that were previously acquired. Despite the challenges of Rett syndrome, many individuals with the condition experience emotional connections, and with appropriate support, they can lead fulfilling lives.
