Momma Mix and Family
I feel so thankful that I had the opportunity to be with my sons from Friday evening until I paid for an Uber to send them home a city south of us at 8pm Sunday evening.
Because of your support, I was not only able to drive my previously broken-down Dodge Journey and bring us to nearby Carrabba's for dinner. It was the first time my mother had been truly "out somewhere" even for anything casual to eat along with us in over a year. It was he first time enjoying dinner without the stress of walking, but instead being escorted in her wheelchair I got from Goodwill.
Thanks to your donations, I was able to pay for all four of our entrees, desert and a bit more than a 20% tip--and it felt like sucking a relief not to have to worry whether I could afford it this Mother's Day. Because, let's face it, life is fragile, and we just never know how much time we have left in this Earth School.
Saturday I took the boys to visit our foster momma cat Beanie Baby and her son Marlo (born in our care) who are now residents in St. Augustine's Whitty Whisker Cat Café at their all new Victorian-era abode. I was worried Beanie was not acclimating well and thought we abandoned her there, so we got to see her and have nice coffees and pastries together.
On Sunday, also thanks to donations that came in separately through zelle, the boys and I were able to make the drive to Costco and fill up on cheaper gas. We spent the last monies I had in the bank on just over $100 worth of food and necessities for our home (10 items).
I could not have done that or any of this weekend without your help.
And now I find myself back to ground zero.
I interviewed for a part time position last week, but have not received a call back. I need time to complete the DCF certification to attain that job.
I also have a new lead on an old job I used to do that would be much more regular income. I was given a heads up and a clue to reach out to the new GM of that job--and I have, by email. Fingers crossed.
I am still planning to complete my TEFL courses to be able to teach classes online as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
But today? I am back in the position of having to drive my car to earn thru Uber. My is still in need of over $4k in repair for safety in driving long distances and at nighttime. I have created a GoFundMe specifically for those repairs.
What I really need right now is time and support in the interim to get my ducks in a row row to create a abundance for myself moving forward. I need to pay my bills while I do this. I need to feel leave in the creation of income select is best for me now.
I hope for help from generous, giving souls just like you who have already given.
Please, share this SupportNow.org account with those who you know that might care to help. It's our family that needs the most monetary assistance at this time. The car repairs will have to come in time. We just need to survive while I divine a way to become a stronger provider for a family of four.
Word of mouth goes a long way, too.
I appreciate you all. Thank you so much for your continued support. You've already got me through what seemed like an impossible time when my car broke down.
Let's please keep going.🙏🏼❤️🔥🫂
All the love,
Colleen Noëlle
