Amazing new opportunity just on the horizon, but we need to move fast.

What happened: I have been blessed beyond measure, chosen as a scholarship recipient to share my story at the Vasculitis Foundation’s international symposium, hosted in Denver, CO in just 10 days!

What we need: 
1) Baggage check-in fees of $50 per suitcase, to be paid at boarding for each leg of the trip. This comes to a total of $200 extra just to fly our luggage.

2) Finally, speaking of luggage: my suitcases served me quite well for 25 years (and I did a LOT of traveling in my day!), but I had to say goodbye when the zippers broke and I was forced to use a box knife to retrieve my clothing. RIP old friend. So I need new luggage bc I’ve read that the TSA frowns upon plastic garbage bags. I’d like to avoid being detained, forced to stare straight ahead, as a steel-toed man displays my underpants neatly and by color, on a fold-out table. I find myself mesmerized by the reverence and delicacy with which he handles my umm…undergarments. *Ahem.*  Nope, I must avoid this exchange with TSA at all costs. I found an affordable and very durable 3-piece luggage set on amazon, including a carry-on for $139.98 (inc tax), to be delivered by Sun July 12 if ordered TODAY.

By when: So I need the $200 for bag check-in fees by Thurs 7/16, day prior to flight. The luggage needs to be ordered from amazon ASAP to arrive by 7/16, just in case there’s an issue with delivery delays or something…at this point, we’re dealing with a Murphys law situation and I take full responsibility for not staying on top of the details. Normally, this is my wheelhouse, but the brain fog from my meds has been brutal lately. 

TOTAL COST OF ABOVE, NEEDED ASAP (NO EXAGGERATION): $340
