Avry has a Broviac catheter—a surgically placed central line with a Dacron cuff that allows for long-term use. Through this line, she receives fluids, chemo, and blood draws—minimizing needle sticks. The catheter runs directly to her heart, making it both life-saving and high-risk. It requires daily care, hygiene, and absolute protection.


Right now, we’ve run into a serious problem. Tonight the line won’t flush, and we’re not getting good blood return. The nurses have worked on it for a long time—trying everything they can think of—but nothing is working yet. The team is discussing next steps. This is a major concern because the line is essential for her treatment to continue.


🙏 Please pray that this blockage clears without needing the catheter removed. Pray for guidance, and wisdom, and peace for us and her care team as they assess and attempt to resolve this complication. We need this line to work!
