No big updates this weekend, just soaking in time together. 
 

Friday night we bundled up and headed to the fair. Maddox slept through most of it but still enjoyed being out in the fresh air. 

 Saturday and Sunday, Maddox got some special one-on-one time with both sets of grandparents, and even his great-grandmother, while mom and dad worked on the house and his sisters were off having fun with family (huge thank you to everyone who helped make that possible). 

This morning we headed to the park, spent time with friends, met the newest baby of the crew, Beau, and walked over to the skatepark to watch the older siblings scooter down the ramps. Already imagining how one day Maddox will be right there with them in his own way. 

One of the best parts about kids is that they don’t see differences, they just see Maddox as a normal baby. Even though he isn’t doing what the average baby his age might be doing, they don’t notice, and that’s what makes moments like these so special. 💙 My favorite part of any get-together is being reminded that kids see hearts, not milestones.
