Millie spent 106 days in the NICU. On day 100, her fourth EEG detected subclinical seizures—seizures with no visible symptoms—making them difficult to monitor. She now has EEGs every three months to track any new activity. While this original form of epilepsy is currently controlled, a new type of seizure was detected in January 2025 called Infantile Spasms. She is currently undergoing treatment to eliminate these.
