Hey everyone! 

Merritt (and Madi) have both turned a corner and are doing much better! Madi has about 6 more days before she is cleared to go back to normal, and Merritt has about 4!  We have been trying to continue to lay low, but it is getting harder to make Madi stay still :) 

Merritt got to return to Kid Street this Wednesday (which is his daycare staffed with nurses and therapists at children’s hospital).  They were so pumped to see him and gave him lots of cuddles. He was exhausted his first night back because they did try to do some PT with him, and he hadn’t done much for a full week! 

I just want to finish by saying I am still in shock at the overall response we are having on Merritt’s new instagram page.  The original video I made has over 450,000 views and over 20,000 likes. People around the world have been encouraging me, reaching out to me with similar stories of their kid, and even donating to this page. Complete strangers. All touched by mister Merritt and our story so far.  It has been humbling, and it has also been a great reminder of the power in community and also in a group of women.  Mamas are fierce, and our love (even for other people’s children and stories) can’t be stopped.  We are blessed to be a small part of so many other peoples stories ❤️🤟🏻
