Hello everyone,

Sorry I didn’t get to post an update last week :) We had a good Fourth of July weekend. Merritt got to pet his first cow and put his feet into a little creek at a local park. We went to the children’s museum, the zoo, watched fireworks and went swimming! Busy busy, but so much fun as a family. 

Today was Merritt’s first day at NAPA (the therapy center that does intensive therapy).  He will be going there for three hours a day, 5 days a week, for three weeks!   Today was hard for sure. Lots of tears in both PT and DMI, but he did really well in feeding/speech and was happily kicking his legs and chatting while eating ❤️ 

I am hopeful that he will start to get used to the new routine and will really get some good gains from the various treatments.  All the therapists were super nice and seem really knowledgeable which is great too. 

The first picture is Merritt’s current state of being haha… so tired he just passed out on our couch! And the others are some fun from our weekend.
