Update!

Randy and Melissa have spent the past three weeks down in Tijuana, at a place called Hope4Cancer. Melissa has been doing treatment 7 hours a day 7 days as week. Today is her LAST DAY of treatment before they begin their journey home tomorrow. The staff (doctors, nurses, aids, chefs) have sounded amazing, and they have met some incredible people it sounds like. During their time down there, the doctors and nurses were able to keep Melissa's pain well managed, put her nausea to bay, and bring some strength back to her body! It has been a joy to see her look more like herself. Randy has made some new friends...shocking! ;), and has found himself a regular at a coffee shop. Both have enjoyed getting out of the center and walking along the beach and markets. 

Melissa will come home with therapies to continue on with the next three months before returning for a follow-up visit. As they come home, pray for wisdom with some next steps as they continue on mom's healing journey here at home. The battle is hard and long, but our God is good and strong.
