Joel’s Battle Begins: Chemo Has Started

We are standing by little Joel as he bravely fights after two back-to-back surgeries. His port (a small device for medicine delivery) is now in place. He spent a night in the baby ICU (Intensive Care Unit) where doctors watched over his breathing. Today marked the start of his first chemo treatment. 
He finds comfort watching cars and chicken little resting with his parents. 

We ask everyone to keep Joel in their thoughts and prayers.  Praying for strength, healing, comfort, and peace his way. We also need to support his medical team with wisdom and his family with endurance through this challenging journey.
