Marley's Miracle
October 15 will forever be one of those dates etched into my heart. Two years ago today, Marley was accepted into the n-Lorem program. I remember exactly where we were—pulling into church—when my phone rang. My beautiful friend Rachel was on the other end, and she was the one who got to share the life-changing news. It's like we had just climbed a mountain together and were rejoicing. Not every day feels like a victory, but that day sure did.
That day, I captured this picture of Marley and me. I told myself: I wanted to remember this day forever.
A Step of Obedience
Just a week before that call, I had taken a scary step of obedience in my life—sharing Marley’s story publicly. In front of my church, I talked about the years of struggle, my own depression, and the long road to her diagnosis. It was raw and hard, but I knew God was asking me to do it.
And then, one week later, this door opened. I don’t believe it was by chance. Again and again, I’ve seen that when I lean into obedience, miracles follow. It’s often not the world around me that needs to shift—it’s my heart that needs readjusting.
The Gift of Rachel & Rory
Rachel is the mom of Rory Belle, and if that name sounds familiar, it should. Rory had NARS1, and after she passed away, Rachel and another mom, Teri, came together to create The Rory Belle Foundation—the only foundation in the world for NARS1.
Rory lost her life, and Rachel lost her daughter. It's heartbreaking to think that without that happening, we might not be where we are today. Because of them, Marley now has a fighting chance. Rachel, thank you for bringing us into this program. We are forever grateful!
N-lorem, thank you for investing in Marley and creating a medicine that will forever alter her future.

Two Years In
The last two years have been long. Full of waiting. Full of faith-stretching. But also full of people surrounding us, encouraging, praying, giving, and walking alongside us. That support has carried us more than you could ever know.
So today, October 15, we pause to remember. To say thank you. And to keep pressing on. This date will always mark the moment hope became something tangible for our girl.
💜 Two years down the road. A lifetime of gratitude ahead.
