We’re still smiling — we're excited to share that our Serve Day Bake Sale raised $3,100 through purchases and generous donations! Every cookie, cake, brownie, and dollar brought us one step closer to Marley’s treatment, and we’re so grateful.

It was also incredibly meaningful to be part of Serve Day at North Cities and watch our church in action, serving the community so beautifully. There were tables full of free items for families in need, free food, opportunities to receive prayer, and even a blood donation station. The atmosphere was full of compassion, love, and purpose. What a day to be part of something bigger than yourself.

Our community went above and beyond. Never would I have thought this many people would come through to serve my family when I put the call for help out. We also couldn’t believe how beautifully packaged everything was and how delicious the items were. It was your best recipes! Throughout the day, we even sold 109 raffle tickets for the Piefalootin pie!!

To every single person who baked, donated, packaged, or simply showed up — we truly couldn’t have done it without you. There are too many of you to name, and we’d never want to leave anyone out — but please know how much we appreciate you.

That said, we do want to give a special shoutout to Porch Swing Bakery. Bethani and Eden donated 60+ homemade sourdough cookies that were a huge hit (I bought one myself and oh my word — so very good!). Be sure to check out their Front Porch self-serve bake shop for all your sourdough goodies.

A heartfelt thank you to the pastoral team at North Cities for welcoming us back on Mother’s Day with a table for our leftover goodies — and just like that, we sold out

So What's Next? A garage sale fundraiser! We’ll share dates and donation drop-off info soon, so go ahead and start saving your treasures — we’d love your support as we gear up for the next round of fundraising for Marley’s medicine.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving our girl so well.
