The other night, just as we were settling into bed, Marley said, “Pee the potty.”
I asked if he wanted to go, and he gave a big “Yes.”
He sat proudly and announced he peed—then asked me to help him turn and check.
“No pee,” I said gently. “Do you want to keep trying?”
He nodded and sat back down.
We played peekaboo, found his giraffe toy, and tried again—twice more.
Each time, he checked with hope.
Each time, I said softly, “Nutting, nutting… maybe next time.”
He sweetly echoed back, “Maybe next time.”

He’s learning. We’re learning. And we’re celebrating every moment, big and small.

Some days feel like “maybe next time.”
And then, suddenly—it is this time.

We’re feeling incredibly grateful this week. Through recent kindness and generosity, we now have enough to cover two more full months of Trexo lease time.
