6/30 Update on Joshua

Joshua had a lumbar puncture (spinal fluidcheck & chemo) scheduled today - so the doctors can determine if the Leukemia has affected his spinal fluids and brain fluid. At the same time, they treated it with chemo, so Joshua has been nauseous today and has not really had the energy for visitors.
We won't know the results of the spinal fluid analysis for a while, but we are grateful for the amazing staff, the support we're receiving from our community of family, friends, and family friends.
The physician DID update us today on a possible side effect of him receiving a bone marrow transplant (if God decides that is the path we must travel); a very high likelihood of infertility. We have some tough choices to make, which leads is to our prayer request:
We ask that you pray for Joshua's health, and that God help us understand His plan - and that He provide us with strength and wisdom on how to proceed. We have faith that our God is all powerful, but we also understand that God sometimes wants us to prove to Him that we can walk the path of the faithful - and we leave it in His hands... In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Joshua is finally sleeping (10pm), so I'm going to pray over him and try get some rest as well, with faith that tomorrow will be a blessed day ❤️
