I've hit a new milestone in my treatment: After more than three months of chemo and six months of immunotherapy every three weeks, my infusions are going well enough that I won't need to meet with my doctor or nurse practitioner each time, but instead at every other appointment. I love my care team, but this will make those visits shorter.

My cancer antigen number, after plateauing for several months at a nice low number, has gone down even further. (Great news!) New developments require follow-ups, but I continue to feel stronger overall.

My next two treatments are December 12 and January 6.

I want to thank everyone who has been following my updates and supporting me in mind, body, and spirit. I am particularly grateful to each person who has taken time out of their busy schedules to provide companionship and transportation to my infusions. During this phase of my life that is marked by (extra) anxiety and uncertainty, I am so appreciative of the time I get to spend with friends and family during my treatments. It lifts my spirits and buoys me well beyond the hours we spend at the cancer center. I am so lucky to know you all.
