Hi Everyone,
I wanted to get on here for my weekly update.
Mom is still doing well with minimal side effects from her first round of chemo last week. Other than being more tired than usual, she is feeling good! We are very thankful for that and pray it continues!
She has her 2nd round of chemo starting on 5/4, I will update as the week progresses.
We have received so many letters, gift cards and well wishes from family & friends, please know that they really do help lift her spirits and solidifies the fact that she is not battling this alone and she has a ton of people behind her. She is the strongest woman I have ever known and these past 8 to 9 weeks has shown that over and over again. This is just a bump in the road that she will overcome and have one heck of a story to tell!
Our prayer for this upcoming week; That her body remains strong and responsive to the chemo and that it is doing it's job in getting rid of ALL of the cancer cells in her body.
