Tonight, Lindi’s final wish to be an organ donor will be fulfilled. In the midst of unimaginable heartbreak, she will give the gift of life to others. ❤️
This moment will finally bring our family some closure after what has felt like an incredibly long and painful journey. At the same time, knowing that tonight is truly our final goodbye is absolutely shattering us.
There is something so beautifully Lindi about leaving this world by helping someone else continue theirs. Her life will live on—not only through her family, her children, and everyone who loved her, but also through the lives she will save and forever change tonight.
To everyone who has surrounded our family with love through your texts, phone calls, prayers, visits, donations, and countless acts of kindness—thank you. There truly are no words for what your support has meant during the darkest days of our lives.
Tonight, please keep Lindi, her husband, her children, our family, the incredible medical team, and the recipients who are receiving her gifts in your thoughts and prayers.
