I wanted to take a minute and write a note.  I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for ALL the ways you have supported me and my family during this time.  My parents and sister did an amazing job balancing sharing information and protecting my privacy during my hospital stay.  I’m sure it became apparent that there were complications and things did not go exactly as planned.  To shed just a little more light, among a few other things, there was a second surgery and I also developed three blood clots in my brain.  Thankfully they should go away with time and medication, with zero lingering side effects, mentally or physically.  I am beyond grateful to be home and getting better every day.  There is still a ways to go and I trust that I/we will get there.  I go back in about a week for rechecks and I hope to have really good news to share then.  Thank you and thank you again - your support has been heart filling and more!
